How much does counselling cost?
Individuals are $155 for a 50 minute session
Couples and Families are $170 for a 50 minute session
Do you do direct billing to my insurance company?
For private counselling we issue you a receipt that you submit to your plan for reimbursement. However we do direct billing for ICBC if you have been preapproved for counselling. We are also registered with crime victims assistance where we direct bill for counselling if you have an approved file with them.
Does my plan cover clinical counselling?
Please check with your individual plan to see what your coverage is for. Some plans with cover only Registered Social Workers or Registered Psychologists. Look for coverage for a Registered Clinical Counsellor.
What is a Registered Clinical Counsellor?
We are registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. This means we belong to a regulatory body for counsellors that ensure that we adhere to ethical practice and hold a Master’s degree in counselling psychology.

What’s the difference between a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and a Registered Professional Counsellor?
A Registered Clinical Counsellor holds a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, which entails 7 years of university, has undergone a supervised practicum and a thesis. A Registered Professional Counsellor has completed a one-year diploma program in counselling.
How long does counselling take?
It depends on the issue and what your goals are for counselling. We work towards your goals and do our best to work towards those goals in a timely manner. After the first session, we will be able to give a closer estimate.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please allow 24 hours notice for any changes to appointments. This allows us time to accommodate anyone that is waiting on the wait list. If 24 hours is not given, a fee of $75 will apply.
